The MRCC has a highly sophisticated phone system, which it shares with the ARCC and the Coast Guard.

The system has 3,500 pre-programmed speed-dial numbers. Every SOS Alarm Centre and every lifeboat station in Sweden has its own number, which is displayed as a button on a touch screen. Users can immediately see on the screen which of these partners is calling and can also call the selected subscriber with the touch of a button.
