Personnel

The Department is responsible for personnel policy, organizational development, staff recruitment, work environment, social affairs and personnel negotiations and agreements relating to the personnel. The Department is responsible for coordinating business development, training and skills development issues. Arkö maritime training centre, Swedish Maritime Administration's training facility, is part of the Department's responsibility. The Department is also responsible for the reception and switchboard operation.
