The Swedish Maritime Administration has a mandate to facilitate the fulfilment of transport policy objectives adopted by the Riksdag.
The Swedish Maritime Administration monitors transport policy developments and participates actively in national transport policy studies and corresponding projects on the EU level. This includes the task of assisting the Government with input and analysis pertaining to transport and business policy issues related to the maritime sector.
