The seamen's club of the Swedish east coast port of Norrköping, Johannisborg, is close to the port areas and yet only at walking distance from the city center. It's run by the Swedish Seamen's Service.
Seafarers of all ships in port are offered transportation to the centre and back again. We provide a well deserved break from the shipboard routines. At Johannisborg Seamen's Club you are welcome to take part in sports, enjoy the sauna, read newspapers, arrange a barbecue or just relax.
Johannisborg Seamen's Club has a broad variety of activities for all who want to keep fit. There are several outdoor football lawn fields as well as opportunities to play basketball or volleyball.
During the winter we arrange indoor team sports at facilities nearby. You may also borrow skiing or skating equipment.
Johannisborg has a lot to offer even if you are not interested in sports activities. Our cafeteria offers coffee, soft drinks and snacks. We have international television and videos. You may read your e-mail or find Internet news from home, mail your letters and exchange major currencies.
