Pilotage services resume in Marstrand
News 2026-10-01
The Swedish Maritime Administration has been in discussions with pilots in Marstrand throughout the day. Following advice from its occupational health service, the employer had decided to temporarily suspend pilotage services to the ports of Wallhamn, Stenungsund and Uddevalla out of concern for the wellbeing of its staff. Pilotage services are now gradually resuming.
— I understand the concerns felt by our pilots in Marstrand. We will continue to maintain close dialogue with our employees and provide them with as much support as possible, says Anna Norinder, Director of Business Operations.
Around ten vessels have been affected by the temporary suspension. Pilotage services in the rest of the country are operating as normal.
