The canal is closed during stated times, also with information about which of the two locks, works are being carried out on. This is due to maintenance works on the two canal locks. One lock will be closed at a time, so that it is possible for ships with a berth in Falsterbo Canal to pass in and out. During the weekends, there will be free passage through the entire canal. |

The canal is closed on December 24 - 26, 31 and January 1.
Other information
The Falsterbo Canal is a canal that leads shipping within Falsterbonäset between the Baltic Sea and the Sound. Since April 2014, the Swedish Maritime Administration has remotely controlled the facility from the Canal Center in Trollhättan.
Maximum draft in the canal is 4.0 m.
