Opening hours

There are four openable bridges in Fyrisån
between Lake Mälaren and the city of Uppsala.

Vertical clearance:

• Flottsundsbron 3.8 m
• Vindbron 2.1 m
• Kungsängsbron 4.8 m
• Tullgarnsbron 3.8 m under construction. More information below.
• Hamnspången 2.3 m

Horizontal clearance: 8 m

Opening hours

April 15 - October 15

Requests for bridge opening can be done between 0800 - 2300 LT. No bridge opening between 1600 - 1700 LT on weekdays.
Call 1 hour before arrival to request bridge opening.

Call the above number first and then in consultation with the bridge watch switch to VHF Ch 15. Always call the bridge watch when not in sight of the bridge.

Other information

Hamnspången is controlled remotely from Kungsängsbron.

A new bridge Tullgarnsbron is under construction north of Kungsängsbron.
The area is a construction site. The fariway may be closed.
