Information concerning Rönnäng / Ängholmen

Compulsory Pilotage

From January 1st, 2009 the Swedish Transport Agency establishes regulations on pilotage in the Swedish territorial waters. 

Pilotage is compulsory for the following vessels:

Hätteberget - Hätteberget - Rönnäng/Ängholmen

Category 1 vessels: All vessels

Category 2 vessels: LOA 70m or 14m beam or 4,5m draught and over

Category 3 vessels: LOA 70m or 16m beam or 4,5m draught and over

Restrictions

Rönnäng

Restrictions during darkness:

No vessels will be piloted to Rönnäng during dark hours.

Arrival Hätteberget morning: 0,5 hours before sunrise.

Arrival Hätteberget evening: 1 hours before sunset.

Departure morning: 0,5 hours before sunrise.

Departure evening: 0,5 hour before sunset.

Vind restrictions:

No vessels with LOA 87m and more will be piloted to / from Astrids fisks jetty with wind >7m/s.

 

Ängholmen

Vessels are piloted to the quay during dark hours, provided that the leading line at Ängholmen is Lit / in operation.

NOTE! : Tugs with barge will not be piloted during dark hours. Tugs with barge applies to the following:

Arrival Hätteberget morning: 0,5 hours before sunrise.

Arrival Hätteberget evening: 1 hours before sunset.

Departure morning: 0,5 hours before sunrise.

Departure evening: 0,5 hour before sunset.

Restrictions if reduced visibility.

 

Anchorage area

On Älgfjorden, SW Älgön. Depth 25m, clay.

On Hakefjorden, N Älgön. Depth 50 - 25m, clay.
