Falkenberg

The Swedish Seamen's Service does not have a permanent representative in the harbour of Falkenberg but there is an movable field representative in Halland's ports who can visit ship crews if time permits. We have also identified the service that you can find in the port surroundings, as a visiting seaman. Gävle

In Gävle, a representative from Gefle Seamen’s Mission visits ships in port, and there is an unattended drop-in center within the ISPS-area. You will find the premises on Depåvägen 37

Halmstad

Our Field Representative in Halland mainly visits the ports of Falkenberg and Varberg. If possible, we can arrange a visit to Hamlstad. Some of the services offered are newspapers, sports activities and book exchanges.

Helsingborg

The Swedish Seamen's Service does not have a representative in Helsingborg. Instead, exchange of seamen’s libraries and other services are carried out by the Seamen’s Church. If required, the Swedish Seamen's Service station in Malmö can be contacted.
At the Seamen’s Church there are excellent premises for relaxation, phone calls to your dear ones, or sending an e-mail through our wireless Internet connection. Moreover, the cafeteria offers TV as well as newspapers, magazines and books. For those who want to excercise, it is possible to visit the swimming hall nearby for free (we pay for your visit). We can also offer pool and dart.
